As a result, medical detox is seen as a precursor to another level of care and usually lasts for around 1-2 weeks. For many clients looking for addiction treatment in Highlands, short-term residential inpatient treatment is an ideal starting point. Our short-term residential inpatient program gives you time away from everyday life triggers and allows you to establish new, healthy patterns with supervision from our staff members. Your treatment schedule will consist of individual therapy, group therapy, and other services in residential inpatient treatment. Short-term residential inpatient programs tend to last for around 30-90 days total.

Long-term residential inpatient treatment is an extended form of addiction treatment most often used for long-term, severe, or chronic-relapsing addiction. Although long-term rehab is technically defined by treatment stays lasting for 120 days or more, clients in our long-term rehab program often remain in treatment for six months or more. Like in short-term residential inpatient programs, long-term residential inpatient treatment clients will have a structured schedule of groups, individual therapy, and other activities.

A partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a type of addiction treatment that combines the comprehensive nature of a residential inpatient treatment program with the freedom of living off-site. During the week, PHP clients at SOBA NJ have a full treatment schedule of group therapy, individual therapy sessions, and other activities. PHP requires a more extensive time commitment than other outpatient programs. In turn, PHP is suitable for those with a supportive, substance-free living space who don’t need the supervision of inpatient treatment but still benefit from thorough treatment.

An intensive outpatient program (IOP) is a highly flexible form of addiction treatment. Our IOP clients are in treatment for fewer total hours per week than PHP clients but still maintain a well-structured weekly treatment schedule of groups, individual therapy, and other services. Often, IOP is ideal for those who need to work, go to school, or fulfill other obligations while in treatment due to the reduced time commitment.

The outpatient program at SOBA NJ is our lowest level of care with the most flexibility. Since only 1-9 treatment hours per week are required for outpatient clients, this care level is typically used for clients who are in a stable place but wish to continue working on relapse prevention.

Our virtual rehab or telehealth services make getting help possible for those unable to go to treatment in person.
