Get The Mental Care You Deserve

At SOBA New Jersey, we understand how hard it can be to ask for help. We also understand that seeking treatment and dealing with a mental health disorder can be a confusing and challenging time. We’re here to help.

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all mental health treatment center. We make sure that every client gets the right attention and care they need to have a successful treatment experience, whether you’re in need of depression treatment or are dealing with panic attacks. Our team accomplishes this by performing thorough evaluations on the mental health status of our clients. Based on the results of these evaluations, we design a unique treatment plan for each individual.

Whether you are struggling with a mental health disorder, co-occurring disorders, or addiction to drugs or alcohol you’ll get the care you need.

Mental Health Treatment That Meets You Where You Are

SOBA New Jersey offers mental health treatment at the outpatient and intensive outpatient levels. These programs are for individuals struggling with mental health disorders as well as co-occurring disorders. For mental health clients, we also offer one-on-one treatment sessions with an expert primary therapist.

We determine a treatment plan with consideration to psychiatric diagnoses, developmental functioning, behavioral needs, family involvement, and community resources. Our mental health programs in New Jersey include thorough mental assessments, individual and group therapy, peer support, psychiatric treatment, and family intervention.

Outpatient Care For Mental Health & Co-Occurring Disorders

Our outpatient program provides mental health services in a community setting to clients with psychiatric diagnoses. This includes clients who are seriously and persistently mentally ill.

Periodic therapy, counseling, and supportive services are provided at our treatment facility. A typical outpatient treatment plan consists of multiple treatment sessions, tailored to the individual. These sessions last between 30 minutes and 2 hours. Our treatment services may be provided individually, in groups, or in family sessions.

Intensive Outpatient Program For Mental Health

Our intensive outpatient program for mental health is similar to our outpatient program. However, it’s ideal for those who can benefit from mental health treatment more than once per week.

Our intensive outpatient program typically consists of 9 treatment hours per week, 3 hours of treatment per day for 3 days per week. Structured therapy, counseling, and supportive services are all part of our intensive outpatient program.

Our comprehensive program is designed to help each patient return to a more functional, healthy, and independent life, all at a pace that ensures a successful future outside of mental health treatment.
