When you live on-site, there’s the opportunity for intensive treatment and therapy, including group and individual counseling, family therapy, adventure therapy, and more. Our goal during each inpatient program is to allow clients to step away from the stress at home and focus exclusively on recovery.

The structure and stability of the environment are helpful, too, in the early days of your recovery.

Our partial hospitalization programs are a good fit if you need the intensity of inpatient treatment but also have to return home in the evenings, or they can be a go-between as you move from inpatient to outpatient rehab. There is a bit more flexibility in a PHP at SOBA New Jersey compared to inpatient programs, but overall, the programming and scheduling are similar.

You can access comprehensive therapy, evidence-based treatment, and medical care as needed, several hours daily, most days a week.

The next level of intensity at our center after a PHP is intensive outpatient. Intensive outpatient programs at SOBA New Jersey can be a step after high care levels but before the complete flexibility that comes with traditional outpatient rehab. An IOP is structured, but you also get the chance to be accountable for your recovery and explore using your new coping strategies. Education, peer support, and comprehensive therapy are all part of an IOP at our center.

Our most flexible level of treatment is a traditional outpatient program. Outpatient rehab gives you the most flexibility in scheduling to keep up with daily responsibilities, but you’re still connected to the support and resources of the center.
