Everyone who goes into rehab needs to know the costs involved upfront, so they know what they’re dealing with and can put a financial plan into action.

One of the most complex issues to understand in this area is whether or not your insurance will cover any part of your costs. If you find yourself in a situation where you are uninsured, or your treatment is not covered for any reason, it is well worth seeking out local non-profit organizations who will be willing to help you with at least part of your costs.
However, do not confuse ‘non-profit’ for ‘free’ – this is not necessarily the case. Always be sure to find out about monthly premiums, additional costs and copayments involved with these plans.

A person can feel resigned to choosing a small rehab facility, or a short stay, because they feel they cannot afford anything more. You could secure loans, subsidies or funding that could help you stay somewhere, and for a length of time, that you feel could truly help you.
