Substance Abuse Treatment Family Support Program
The disease of drug and alcohol addiction is a damaging one to families of addicts. It ravages the lives of the addicts and it harms those close to them. SOBA College Recovery provides support for the families of our clients throughout each phase of treatment. Families of clients who partake in our Family Support Program learn that their own healing process is just as important to their loved one’s recovery as the process the client undergoes. These family members who experience this transformation are filled with strength and hope. These experiences are encouraged and shared by these family members at family workshops and support groups that are available twice a month. As each client approaches the end of their stay during Phase III, the family dialogue begins about what the next step will be. Individual family sessions with our clients’ clinical therapists can be established to accurately plan for continued growth and success.
