This phase prepares them for the lifelong work that is associated with living sober. Clients who achieve this level of responsibility have new self-acceptance. They have come to understand and firmly believe in a new, fulfilling way of life. Every aspect is addressed by helping clients choose essay topics and editing to accountability by tracking each client’s educational planner filled with their individual class schedule and assignments.
Personal accountability is paramount for both educational and employment success. This process begins from day one at SOBA College Recovery. While under our care, clients engage in multiple activities for work, education or volunteering. This process teaches our clients to balance a schedule, and sets them up for opportunities later on in life. All of these are necessary for a true sober transition to their new life after graduation.
