Jessica Szabo works as a case manager at SOBA College Recovery, where she interned while completing her Master’s in Social Work at Rutgers University. During her undergraduate career, she worked as a facilitator for a mentoring program for adolescents in less advantaged communities. She also volunteered as an academic tutor for incarcerated students in a juvenile correctional facility. In addition to earning her master’s degree, Jessica earned her Addiction Counseling Training certification.
Jessica utilizes strengths-based therapy and a client-centered approach. She works hard to build a rapport with her clients, in order to develop a safe and conducive space for therapy and case management. She is passionate about empowering her clients and assisting in life changes to support long-term sobriety.
Her personal interests include spending time with friends and family, weekend trips to the mountains or beach, live music, and finding the best restaurants. She values laughter, compassion, and staying true to self.
