Lisa Pyryt is a Primary Therapist and Utilization Review Specialist at SOBA College Recovery. She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and has her LPC. Lisa received a Bachelor’s Degree in Forensic Psychology in 2011 from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and went on to pursue a clinically-oriented career by getting her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University in 2014. She holds a specialty certification in Marriage and Family Therapy, and has been working with the substance abuse population for more than five years.
Lisa believes in integrating all types of therapies and modalities in the recovery process, so that clients will have multiple ways to approach situations they may face after their time in treatment has concluded.
In her spare time, Lisa enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking long drives and has a passion for helping animals.
